The Center for the National Interest and The National Interest rely heavily upon contributions from foundations, corporations and individuals to support their work and are tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to the Center and the magazine are tax-deductible within legal limits.

The Center has established a membership program for corporations and individuals.
