A Conversation with Bako Sahakyan, President of Nagorno-Karabakh

On March 15, the Center for the National Interest hosted a one-table lunch discussion with Bako Sahakyan, President of Nagorno-Karabakh. Mr. Sahakyan discussed his perspective on the conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, prospects for its resolution, and other regional developments. Center Board member Richard Burt, managing partner at McLarty Associates, as well as a former ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany and a former assistant secretary of state for European and Canadian affairs, moderated.
