Europe’s Angry Muslims
On March 9, the Center hosted an evening book party featuring Robert Leiken, author of Europe’s Angry Muslims: The Revolt of The Second Generation. A former Senior Fellow at the Center for the National Interest, Leiken extensively studied Islamist ideologies and European efforts to integrate migrant populations. Europe’s Angry Muslims focuses on the United Kingdom, France and Germany, each of which has taken a different approach to contending with Muslim immigrants. During the discussion, Leiken discussed the new edition of his book, which included an assessment of the 2015 Paris attacks and the implications of the ongoing civil war in Syria. The book is available for purchase through the Oxford University Press or Amazon.
