On March 27, the Center hosted a high-profile panel discussion on how Iran and the ongoing crises in the Middle East have influenced U.S. politics. David Rothkopf, CEO of The FP Group and a former senior Department of Commerce official in the Clinton administration, and Dov Zakheim, Vice-Chair of the Center and a former top Department of Defense official in the Bush administration, discussed a potential nuclear agreement with Iran, its potential impact on U.S. regional allies, and how foreign policy may affect the 2016 presidential campaign.
