Israel and the Middle East

On February 9th, the Center for the National Interest hosted a round table discussion of Israel’s relationship with the Middle East and the United States in the context of regional instability. Dennis Ross, former Middle East envoy for the Clinton administration, began the discussion with introductory remarks. The event was the second in a series of meetings planned by Regional Security Program Senior Director Geoffrey Kemp focusing on strategic realignment in the Middle East and North Africa region and was attended by a group of experienced academic and governmental experts in the field.
