Water Crises, Security and Climate Change

On Wednesday, September 26, the Center hosted a launch for its new monograph on Water Crises, Security and Climate Change. The discussion featured the report’s lead editor, Geoffrey Kemp, Senior Director for Regional Security Programs at the Center; Sherri Goodman, a Senior Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Center and a former Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Environmental Security in the Clinton administration; and Dov Zakheim, Vice Chairman of the Center for the National Interest and a former Under Secretary of Defense during the George W. Bush administration. Paul Saunders, Executive Director of the Center for the National Interest and a former State Department Senior Advisor in the George W. Bush administration, moderated.
