Ambassador Richard Burt, Managing Director of McLarty Associates and former Ambassador to Germany, and Dimitri K. Simes, President and CEO of the Center for the National Interest, spoke at the Center on September 11 about their article in the September/October 2015 issue of The National Interest magazine. The discussion addressed the damaging effects of a lack of depth in the current U.S. foreign policy debate and proposed the outline of a more productive policy conversation.
