Russia’s Military Response to the NATO Summit

On Tuesday, July 26, the Center for the National Interest hosted an event focusing on Russia’s military response to the recent NATO summit, held in Warsaw, Poland. The featured speaker was Ruslan Pukhov, director of the Center for the Analysis of Strategies and Technologies (CAST) in Moscow. Mr. Pukhov discussed courses of action that the government of Vladimir Putin might take in response and reflected thoughtfully on the state of Russia’s relations with the U.S.-led alliance. Paul Saunders, executive director of the Center for the National Interest moderated the discussion.
